We are conveniently located on the North Western part of Manitoulin Island so that all of what the Island has to offer is within a short driving distance. We are a 45 minute drive from Little Current and approximately one hour from the ferry at South Baymouth.

 

Summer Amenities

Around Manitoulin Island, and in our many inland lakes, the fishing is great all year around. During the spring and fall salmon runs, the fresh water Salmon fishing is second to none in the world. Many fishermen use Gordon's Lodge as a home base while on fishing trips. We would be happy to accommodate you and your friends. In fact we would be happy to book you on one of the many charters that operate off of the Island when you make your reservation to stay with us.

Winter Amentities

The North Channel between Manitoulin Island and the mainland around Gore Bay has some of the best snowmobiling trails in the world.

Gordon's Lodge is a favourite starting point for snowmobiling enthusiasts who bring their machines and stay at the resort. Snowmobile trail maps are available for guest snowmobilers unfamiliar with the territory.

Fishing is not only a summer sport. Ice fishing is a very popular winter sport around the island and on the inland lakes as well. Snow mobiling and ice fishing go hand in hand.
